Job Description:
Inshorts is looking for people to work as News Editors in the English Editorial Team.
We are looking for candidates adept in the English language and have significant experience in the same field. The ideal candidate will be working directly with the Managing Editor.
Eligibility criteria include an experience of 5-10 years for the post in the field of English media.

Responsibilities:
>Writing news articles in 60 words
>Checking for spelling and grammatical mistakes in the headlines and body copies
>Verifying all the facts in a particular story before publishing
>Checking for the authenticity and accuracy of images used for shorts
>Making sure that any story is not repeated
>Have to look after the growth of the concerned team and adding to the overall growth of the company
Desired Skills/Qualification:
>Proven work experience of 5-8 years
>Strong command over the English language
>An eye for detail along with critical thinking
>Good at spotting mistakes
>Sound logical skills
CTC: ₹10-₹20 LPA
